Your Path Through Transition
Counselling for grief, loss, and life’s changes.
My Practice
My practice is rooted in empathy, curiosity and courage. I believe therapy is not only about approaches or techniques, but about the power of human connection — a safe and trusting relationship where you can feel heard, accepted and supported.
Grief and loss are central areas of my work, and I also support adults navigating life transitions, illness, identity questions, and experiences of disconnection or lack of belonging. I work with adults from all walks of life and aim to create a space where every part of who you are can be met with empathy, respect and understanding.
I work integratively, tailoring my approach to each individual. My practice has a person‑centred foundation and draws on a range of approaches and tools, including existential psychotherapy, contemporary grief models, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and attachment‑informed perspectives.
Above all, I aim to offer a space of warmth and safety where you can tell your story at your own pace, explore what matters most to you, and begin to move towards greater balance, meaning and hope.
Boundaries & Ethics
I work within clear professional and ethical boundaries and am a registered member of the BACP and the NCPS. I engage in regular supervision and ongoing professional development to support safe, reflective and ethical practice. Counselling sessions are confidential, with clear limits to confidentiality explained at the outset.
At the beginning of our work together, we will agree on a therapeutic contract outlining boundaries, expectations and practical arrangements.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
I am committed to offering counselling that is inclusive, respectful and sensitive to difference.
My practice is grounded in anti‑discriminatory and anti‑oppressive principles, and I work with awareness of how culture, identity, power and social context can shape experiences of grief, loss and distress.
I aim to provide a space where people of all backgrounds, identities and lived experiences are met with dignity, curiosity and care, and I continue to reflect on my own position and learning as part of ethical practice.
Practical Information
I work within the UK professional and legal frameworks.
I offer a free 15‑minute call as an opportunity to briefly talk through what’s bringing you to counselling and ask any questions you may have. There’s no obligation — it’s simply a chance to see whether working together might feel right.
I offer both brief and open‑ended work, and we will regularly take time together to reflect on what feels helpful and what you might need as our work unfolds.
